UWHC Charity Tournament 2017

Last Friday UWHC held their annual summer Hockey Charity Tournament.

It was a great day and we had a huge turnout with over 30 teams representing a range of sports clubs and societies across campus, such as cricket, rugby, football, lacrosse and netball.

There were three awards to be won on the day: the main Cup Prize which went to the Dodo's and Dinosaurs, Warwick's medicine students.

The Plate Prize which went to kennilworths under 8s. The final prize went to best dressed along with our "throughout the ages" theme, which went to The Big Bangers.

Overall, we raised a total of £584.50 for our chosen charities Coppafeel and the Alzheimer's society.

A big thank you to all those who helped out on the day and for all those who attended I hope you had a great time!

Massive congratulations to Sarah Mchugh (UWLHC Charities Sec) and Sam Kemp and Alex Canham (UWMHC Comms and Charity Sec's) for organising a smooth running event.
